Un'common x Ark Journal.
For the second time, we were among the brands invited to DESIGN/DIALOGUE — one of the most selective exhibitions during 3 Days of Design, organized by Ark Journal magazine. This year, the event took place in the unique wooden interior of the Den Frie museum, in the heart of Copenhagen. The unique character was enhanced by the interior styling by Pernille Vest, who, in her unique way, incorporated artistic elements from all exhibitors.
Satin Walnut - a new shade for the BLOCK series
The BLOCK series was created to display objects that are particularly meaningful to us: albums, souvenirs, small sculptures, or flowers. The simple form combining wood and stone provides them with a suitable setting.
In Copenhagen, we showcased it for the first time in a new finish - Satin Walnut. The new color is the result of many attempts: we were looking for a shade that would create a new interplay between wood and stone, while naturally fitting into the brand's aesthetic and complementing other materials in the collection.
Material and detail
The exhibition was complemented by two pieces of furniture from previous collections: the CAMO console made of Calacatta Viola marble and the NOTO bedside table made of ribbed travertine, as a reminder of what remains unchanged in Un'common: selected material and thoughtful detail.
